In recognition of the pressures that placement season brings, the Student Wellness Centre (SWC), IIT Bombay has curated a serene Recharge Zone. It offers students simple, soothing experiences designed to restore energy, ease stress, and help them navigate this period with clarity and calm.
Recharge Zone
- Art Therapy: Immerse yourself in a safe and expressive space where creativity becomes a pathway to healing. Through drawing and painting, participants are invited to slow down, reconnect with their inner world, and experience the grounding calm that mindful creativity offers.
- Yoga & Sound Bath: Experience a restorative blend of guided yoga stretches and the deeply calming vibrations of a sound bath. This session is designed to quiet the mind, ease physical tension, and create a state of inner harmony through movement, breath, and therapeutic sound.
- Reflexology: Experience a restorative foot-therapy session that nurtures both body and mind. Reflexology encourages deep relaxation, eases physical tension, and supports emotional reset; offering a quiet pause where you can simply unwind and be cared for.
- Animal-Assisted Therapy: Spend time with trained therapy animals who bring warmth, comfort, and connection. These sessions naturally elevate mood, reduce stress, and create an environment where emotional ease becomes possible. Sometimes, healing truly begins with a gentle presence.
